It's one of the things that makes me so hopeful that fandom will move back to dreamwidth. Because the harassment that is so popular on tumblr now SIMPLY CAN'T HAPPEN on Dreamwidth. Users can ban and have it effective, COMMS can ban and have it effective and Abuse at Dreamwidth is Actually Responsive. And it's going to be pretty damn obvious when someone's harassing you.

It wasn't to say that Drama doesn't happen on Dreamwidth, but the kind of anti-style dogpiles that you see nowdays CAN'T. And I think that's great.
