QAF UK

I love this stupid show so so much I can't tell you. Especially Season 2, where shit gets real and they have to deal with things as adults. Especially Stuart, whose speech coming out to his parents and telling-off of Vince's new b-i-l I used to have memorised, once upon a time.

As you can see, I'm a Stuart/Vince shipper, not necessarily in the romantic/sexual sense, but that they're each other's Person. The ending delighted me so very much in that regard. They give me feelings, alright? Stuart knows all the Doctors in order, Stuart's the one who's actually doing the chasing--what there is of it. Judith's entire wedding, oof!

I haven't seen it in years; but I loved it enormously. In fact, when I saw the first few episodes of QAF (US), it was a bit disappointing: the comic timing was far less sharp. (Then the remake spun off in its own direction, and became a lot more satisfying.)

In some box or other I have the tapes. I have no idea which, since I've effectively been moving in here for the past five years, and not done yet. Most of my tapes are still boxed—and will be until I have shelves to put them on.

My recollection is that I preferred Season One; but I think it was the ending of the series that put me off. Too abrupt, and too final. I wouldn't have minded the chance for a third season.

Your list of high points makes me want to watch the series again! I'm so annoyed though that the DVDs don't have the original soundtrack; the music was practically a character.

I love Brian but Stuart's viciousness, oh man. He's walking catharsis.

Also, Vince? About a million % superior to Michael. Don't even get me started on Michael, UGH.
