Today's rec is for
Feather's amazing and heart-breaking and -mending series your blue-eyed boys, and its adjunct series [to see you there] and Settle in and find your home, especially the last, which features a number of brilliant and hypercompetent people who essentially keep the Avengers in one piece. Link goes to the first story in the series, which made me fall absolutely in love with Pepper Potts.
Châtelaine et senêschale (21859 words) by Feather
Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Relationships: Pepper Potts & Original Female Character
Additional Tags: Pepper Potts and her team of badass ladies, ladies in the Tower, hypercompetent women, people with absurdly high IQ, Pepper wants to save the world, Pepper runs a super-efficient company, acute traumatic stress disorder, Post-Battle of New York, Post-Iron Man 3, Pepper is kind of not okay, quietly retconning implausible/insulting canon moments, Tony's terrible people skills
Series: Part 1 of Settle in and find your home, Part 17 of [to see you there]

Today's drabble is for
When Drona comes home empty-handed she tells him, “We will go back to Hastinapur,” and weathers his storms of accusations about the ingratitude of kings.
She knows it, and better than him, grew up forever tagging along behind Chitrangad and Vichitravirya, playing with their cast-off toys, thinking her life wonderful if they noticed her. She was in the palace when Chitragad’s funeral pyre was lit; still there when Vichitravirya followed his brother in a year.
“Aswatthama and I will live with my brother,” she says when Drona’s flooding words are dammed. “You can wander if your pride balks at princes.”
