 Have attained 1.5k in Yuletide fic in one fell swoop after weeks of sitting before an empty.doc file, having once and for all given up hope of modern idiom and surrendered myself to the trigger-warning laden arms of period-accurate pornography.

I have about 400 words done and spent last weekend procrastinating (without the good reasons my sister can cite) which I am - of course - kicking myself for now.

Hopefully next weekend will be more productive as I really, really want to finish and upload in early December so I have lots of time for treats!

Procrastination is rather part of the process. I'm not certain whether I'll be able to do treats (I have to do a lengthy summary of my thesis in Dec/Jan) but I do like to finish up the assignment in sufficient time myself.

I always 'hope' to do more treats than I achieve. I managed five stories one year altogether but some were ficlets that went into Madness. Normally I manage a couple of treats, especially if I have a nice long plane ride to Canada.
