Go, now, to lgbtfest , if you've not already done so. The stories are lovely. (I have one, or two, up, but they're nowwhere near up to the general standard. *hangs head*)

Point is, my fic responsibilities are paid up, for now, so, of course, drabbles must be written, yes?

Here, and here, and here, all the places where age has written, and hard experience, and a life lived unwillingly alone, like a child’s careless scrawl tainting old parchment, in the frown etched as into stone between the eyebrows, and the sad lines of a strong face, and the scars on the knuckles, trailing their tips to the pads of pianist’s fingers that taste, still, like a lifetime ago, when ink and blood and tears were negligible all, in their unshed abundance, though the hands have hardened, and the hair faded and eyes darkened, and the mouth slow to smile.
