Everyone knows...

           

The Invisibility Cloak belongs to Prongs; the Hand of Glory belongs to Padfoot.

 

The Chaser’s gloves are Potter’s and the Beater’s bat is Black’s.

 

Transfiguration notes are written in James’ neat copperplate while the margins of the DADA text are nearly black with Sirius’ loopy scribbles.

 

Wormtail is Prongs’ groupie, but Padfoot takes Moony as his protégé. (It’s the ‘canine thing’, he explains.)

 

In 7^th year, Evans belongs to Potter, and anyone who thinks they’ll be the one belongs to Black for half an hour or less.
