Just realised in the course of writing TC/Wimsey fic that Ralph has properly speaking not had Forever-Home since oh about seven or thereabouts, which really don't give way to cyclists, especially considering the only other interesting character around is Lady Peter.

Ah, I see; yes, the cyclist dodge really only works in cases of Misusing Power, not Actually Being Powerless.
