I do hope your "interesting" Yuletide was not "may you live in interesting times" type of interesting. I wound up going out to pinch-hits myself; but I received two very nice stories.
Well, the lj servers are moving or have moved to Russia, with resultant implications, that's mostly it. Plus I never ever check my lj or friends' or whathaveyou, so it seemed easiest.
My Yuletide recipient has been gratifyingly pleased, which is what one hopes for; the story I got was very well-written.
Hah! Yes, I just learned about the server move. (Hadn't done so when I wrote earlier.) I doubt if it'll affect me one way or the other; but I do wonder about MRF, given its inactive status.
I'm glad you had a good Yuletide too. I'm still slowly working my way through the Yuletide collection. So many stories!

I still have a few friends on LJ who are not on Dreamwidth (plus the kittypix community, where one sees lots of lovely felines) so I am likely to keep my LJ account. But all my posting is done on DW these days.
